Fair Trade?
So I have recently made a decision to not shop at stores such as walmart, for many reasons but one is the use of china and abusing their labor rights. I am sure a lot of other companies do this as well. I try to by some stuff through websites I find online that claim to be fair trade, but I was wondering what other companies should I try to avoid or are their any real companies that I can feel okay shopping at? Any suggestions at how to buy clothing with fair trade would be helpful. I normally shop at stores such as american eagle, gap, pacific sunwear and wondering if those would be stores that I should try to avoid? Is it possible to buy everything fair trade or is that unrealistic?
I appreciate the people who are actually giving me useful information. I do not shop at walmart for many reasons, that being ONE of them. All I wanted to know was where I could buy fair trade clothing. The people who are trying to change my opinions can just stop because I will never shop at walmart!

Where can I get a list of Fair Trade products?
I recently saw a documentry about coffee farmers in Ethiopia and how fair trade works. I'd like to be more aware of the products I buy when I am at the grocery store and was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a list of products that participate in fair trade. I'd much appreciate it.

How does fair trade and free trade affect the economy?
Well, I get that free trade might strengthen the economy and all because of the increased trade, and that fair trade may increase economy of developing countries because the producers get more money, but other than that, there MUST be more, isn't there??? And are there any negative effects of fair and free trade on the economy??

What fair-trade chocolate brands should I look for?
I saw a television program last night about fair-trade chocolate and I'm relatively convinced. What kinds of fair-trade chocolate are good? What brands are fair-trade? Is it easy to find?

Where can you buy fair trade coffee?
I read an article in a magazine about how farmers don't hardly make a profit from from selling there coffee beans. I had already heard about fair trade chocolate and other products but I feel like I should do somthing since it's a daily thing I spend money on. Does any grocery store sell it like zehrs or sobeys? I was also wondering does anyone know if tim hortons or starbucks coffee uses fair trade at all? I'm not sure what coffee I should drink now or if I should at all.

Has Green and Black's chocolate stopped being fair trade?
I may be wrong, but in the early days I thought that all Green and Black's chocolate was fair trade as well as organic. Now just Maya Gold is fair trade. Has this changed since the company was taken over by Cadbury Schweppes or am I mistaken?

How much do you care about Fair Trade?
An earlier question made me wonder if other vegans and vegetarians go out of their way to get Fair Trade chocolate and coffee, if they consider it part of their veg*nism to not support human slavery as well, or what other products/practices you guys know of that contribute to awful human rights violations.
(Also interested in hearing responses from non-veg people who support the Fair Trade initiatives.)
